SIAFU is a modern African weaving house founded by Gladys Macharia in Nairobi and shaped by craft traditions from across the continent. Working with natural fibres and traditional techniques, the studio creates contemporary textiles rooted in African heritage, craftsmanship and storytelling. Each piece reflects a considered relationship between maker, material and place, celebrating the human rhythm of the loom while bringing an enduring, refined sensibility to modern interiors.
