Rowena is a Cape Town–based garden designer, botanist and conservationist whose work celebrates colour, artistry and local ecology. Informed by her studies in Botany at UCT and a Master’s in Conservation Biology, her gardens are rooted in a deep understanding of the Cape Floral Kingdom and the resilience of fynbos landscapes. Having worked internationally in conservation and trained alongside leading South African garden designers, Rowena creates vibrant, site-responsive public and private gardens that honour biodiversity and the surrounding environment.
